Back pain at work: Preventing pain and injury

 

 

Nine out of Ten people would complain about having Back pain. Knowing how to really get off this pain seems like a miraculous prayer anyone suffering from back pain would readily have in mind. The pain might be mild or severe depending on the real cause of the event that leads to the pain, varying from bad posture while seating or sleeping, activities that are not really acceptable by the body like, doing strenuous jobs, long hours of traveling, introduction to new exercise routine amongst many others or it could simply just be due to infection\injury. Whatever the case may be let’s see some of the things we can do to immediately ease ourselves of this discomfort without going through much trouble.

 

Understanding the structure of the bones of the back categorized into the Upper, Middle and Lower sections as far as back pain is concerned, the back of the human body consists of bones, ligaments, joints, and muscles, and this part of the body is quite sensitive and should not be stressed instead should be exercised often, massaged and kept in good posture. When considering easing the discomfort back pain gives, you really don’t need to stress as there are some tricks and not so difficult to come-by ingredient that comes in handy for this cause, otherwise seek the help of a healthcare practitioner if the pain gets severe or makes you feel very uncomfortable.

 

1.GINGER TEA

 

  • Get some ginger in a clean pot of water( half a teaspoon if in powdered form).
  • Boil for some minutes.
  • Leave to cool just a little bit, then drink.
  • You can also put some ginger root into a warm compress and place it directly on your back.
  • This is one of the best remedies for back pain because ginger has anti-inflammatory compounds enough to ease the pain.

 

2.WARM GLASS OF MILK, TUMERIC, AND A LITTLE HONEY

 

  • Have a glass of warm milk.
  • Add a pinch of turmeric and few drops of honey.
  • Take this drink as often as you can, it will surely work wonders for your back torment.

 

3.CAMPHOR AND COCONUT OIL MASSAGE

 

  • Blend camphor in coconut oil.
  • Leave to boil for about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer to a clean small size container and leave to cool.
  • Rub on your back every night, two times a week.

 

4.WARM RICE COMPRESS

 

  • Using a tube sock filled with some rice.
  • Tie the opening of the sock.
  • Put it in the microwave for about 4 minutes to warm.
  • Place on the spot of the back pain and simply feel amazingly better.

 

5. EUCALYPTUS OIL BATH

 

  • Get a bowl of slightly hot or lukewarm water.
  • Add a few drops of eucalyptus oil.
  • Take a bath with this water.
  • You can do this every night to feel stressfree and ease yourself of back pain.

 

6.MUSTARD OIL AND WARM SHOWER

 

  • Get a bottle of mustard oil.
  • Pour a little on the palm of your hand.
  • Massage into your back gently one HOUR before a shower.
  • Take a very warm shower and you are sure to be at ease afterward.

 

7. WARM WATER AND METHYLATED BALM MASSAGE

 

  • Get a bowl of not very hot water and a clean towel.
  • Dip the towel in the water and squeeze out the water a little.
  • Massage the warm towel on your back for some minute.
  • Repeat up to FIVE times.
  • This warmth based treatment is a good method where back pain is the issue.
  • Apply some methylated balm on the spot for quick relief.
